On June 17, 2025, Build Smart Institute celebrated its fifth annual graduation ceremony. During the ceremony, the Class of 2025 was recognized for their outstanding achievements in gaining skills and credentials in the skilled trades.
This year's class consisted of 62 graduates who completed the rigorous training required to earn 102 industry-recognized credentials in trades training and professional development.

During the ceremony, Roanoke's Mayor Job Cobb brought remarks, and Craig Toalson, CEO of the Home Builders Association of Virginia, provided an inspirational keynote address. The Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association also awarded funds to Build Smart's Build U Scholarship fund to help future students access training opportunities at Build Smart.
