Heavy Equipment Operator Training – Coming August 2025
Build Smart Institute is proud to announce the launch of our new Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) Training Program, beginning August 2025. Designed for individuals looking to launch or advance a career in construction, this hands-on training series will provide students the knowledge and real-world experience to safely operate heavy equipment.
The program follows
NCCER Heavy Equipment Operations curriculum and includes classroom and extensive seat time in real equipment on real job sites. Students will develop the skills needed to meet the demands of a career in the construction industry.
Program Overview
Before beginning the HEO program, students must complete Build Smart's
CORE Fundamentals of Construction, which builds a strong foundation in basic construction skills, safety, and terminology.
